MCNEILL ART GROUP AT THE ARCHITECTURAL DIGEST HOME DESIGN SHOW

NEW YORK, NY. – Beth McNeill is pleased to announce that for the first time McNeill Art Group will be participating in the Architectural Digest Home Design Show, in the featured area, MADE. MADE is a juried selection of one of a kind fine art, objects, and furnishings.

The artists exhibiting include: Perry Burns, Tapp Francke, Jeff Muhs, and new to McNeill Art Group, artist Bob Schwarz and sculptor Bill Shillalies. Perry Burns creates architectonic, abstract oil paintings on canvas. On view will be Tapp Francke’s latest work in the Lieonize series. Her seductive series, Lieonize, is a group of abstract, color field photographs of light. Painter and sculptor Jeff Muhs will be exhibiting new oil on canvas as well as sculptures from the series The Things that Steve Gave Me. Muhs’ long-standing interest in sculpture has taken him down a novel path, furniture. New furniture by the artist will also be on view. Bob Schwarz the newest addition to McNeill Art Group will exhibit his decorative sculpture series, Starbridges. Bob is a self-taught artist located in East Hampton. His Starbridge series is a decorative and controlled exploration of space that stops short of displaying mass. Bob’s use of aluminum, monofiliment, and acrylic lend a futuristic quality to the work that is entrancing. Additionally McNeill Art Group will be exhibiting ceramic sculptures by Bill Shillalies. Shillalies organic and dynamic vessels are an exploration into architecture, color, and form. The illustrious surface and urbane objets d’Art are stunning and complimentary to modern design.

The Architectural Digest Home and Design Show will be held at Pier 94 on 12th Avenue at 55th Street in New York City. The fair opens with a VIP and trade preview on Thursday March 26th from 10am to 6pm and open to the public Friday, March 27th through Sunday, March 29th, 10am to 6pm.
